What Alyssandra really means when she says "Mommy, will you put make-up on me?"








Last night we had our first "creative" Family Home Evening Lesson. Let me give you the breakdown. It was on David and Goliath.

Goliath: Cardboard boxes, blanket, old coat, spear, shield, sword, printed angry face, paper beard, and one of Corbin's dress up hats. This all adds up to awesome Goliath.



David volunteers to fight Goliath. He goes to the river and picks up 5 stones. (Josh's socks) and puts them in his shepherd bag (Halloween bag for trick or treating).



Goliath mocks David, but David replies "You have a sword, but I have the Lord" (no scripturally accurate, but it's what David said in our house)




David hurls a stone (sock) and Goliath's head and he falls to the earth.






David then cuts of Goliath's head with a lightsaber (sword) David defeats Goliath with the Lord's help.
