It's time for a Princess Party fit for a Princess!
My little princess turned 4! So, of course, I had to make it EPIC! (or at least tried to) Lots of work went into this party...surprisingly not as much work as Corbin's party, but still tons of work. The day before the party was full of little projects. I finished some birthday cupcake wreaths to hang on the doors. Went to pick up last minute things and then started decorating when the kids went to bed. I have a wonderful girlfriend who lent me the awesome castle. Also that day all the goodies were made. I started decorating at 8pm and got finished around 3 am. Lots of work, but totally worth it!!!
The next morning started with Alyssandra waking up to her princess paradise and letting little squeals of joy out everytime she saw something new! That really made the entire night worth it! We then had a quick breakfast, got her all gussied up for the party and waited for our guests to arrive. Pretty soon little princesses started pouring in. They started by making their own tiaras while we waited for the rest of the guests to arrive. Then a quick game of princess bingo and then.....a special surprise. CINDERELLA!!! That's right, Cinderella made a surprise appearance for our little girl. To say Aly was shocked.....is the understatement of the year. She started by reading a girls a story. Then makeovers for each little princess. What next you ask? Princess etiquette classes of course. How to wave, twirls, and bow like a princess. It was priceless! Everyone had a great time. After Cinderella left, opened presents, had cake, and played pin the tiara on the princess while we waited for Mommies and Daddies to come get their girls. It was a great day!
The next day we were able to have a smaller more relaxed party with family. They all came to celebrate with Alyssandra. A HUGE weekend of partying....but it was great! (a VERY special thanks to my wonderful husband for all his help!)
